Clairvoyance seems like a mystical and mysterious thing, but the truth of the matter is that anyone can learn it. Remember that it is important to know what clairvoyance is and that you understand what we mean by learning.

First, let’s define the term clairvoyance. There are many different definitions for this term, and it really depends on who you ask. One of the most common definitions is that you need to learn about remove viewing, that is, being able to see things as they happen from a distance without the use of tools or your five senses. It might also be described as the ability to see in the the future, which is referred to as precognition. Essentially, it means being able to know information that is gathered in a method beyond that of your five senses. This makes clairvoyance the elusive sixth sense.

There are definitely people out there who have amazing clairvoyance. They can see, hear, feel smell or even taste things that are beyond the normal human reach or they might be able to predict past or future events that there was no way that they would know through other means. The truth is that though this phenomena do happen, there is no way for science to understand them. There are many metaphysical explanations for why these things happen, but there is no culture of dominant belief and many of these beliefs are contradictory. One thing that you will find is that it is generally believed that to have these powers, you must be born with it.

Is it possible to learn to see things that are happening elsewhere or to see the future? Probably not. Can you develop and train your sixth sense? Most definitely yes.

All people have a certain degree of clairvoyant sixth sense. This often manifests as an indescribable ‘hunch’ or ‘feeling’ that people can’t logically explain. You may hear people say, for example, ‘I’ve got a bad feeling about this,’ or ‘I don’t know why, but I’ve got a feeling we can trust him.’ Unfortunately, many people ignore their sixth sense, deferring to logic or emotion rather than their gut instinct.

One thing that science has done is acknowledged the existence and the power of hunches and instincts. Scientists tend to be believe that there is not mysterious or paranormal about the existence of these feelings. One prevailing theory about them is that the feeling of getting hunches is that you are subconsciously picking up cues from the world around you, though your conscious brain isn’t aware of it. Your subconscious brain creates a feeling where your conscious brain has difficult ignore it, because it can’t communicate with words. You need to learn to trust your subconscious brain.

Whether you believe in science or in the mystical existence of a sixth sense, you’ll find that you can still take advantage of this concept. What you need to learn is that no matter what you believe, you can train your perception and that you can sharpen it a great deal. Just look at these three methods.

Method 1: Perception Improvement

The vast majority of people go through life so hyper-focused on the task at hand that we become oblivious to everything else around us. Yet all these tiny details hidden in plain sight around us is exactly what our subconscious mind picks up on and needs to form its instincts and hunches. If you can learn to increase your perception, to become more aware of the world around you in all of its detail, you’ll being giving your subconscious mind more of the fuel it needs to power your clairvoyant sixth sense.

Don’t expect this to happen overnight though; you might be breaking the habit of a lifetime. Remember that you should start by slowing down a little bit and moving through your day in a more leisurely fashion. Second consider what distractions are a part of your day and remove them. This means that you should do things like turn off the radio when you are driving. When you don’t have anything distracting you, you’ll find that you are going to be more on target when it comes to looking at the things that are happening around you. This can be essential.

With this step, make sure that you try doing a mini-meditation. All you need to do is to shut your eyes, take a deep breath and force yourself to relax. When your eyes open, you will discover that you are taking in more about your environment, as if you were seeing it for the first time.

2. Meditate

Take at least half a hour out of your day and learn to meditate. You’ll discover that meditation will let you use your mind and clear it at the same time and you’ll discover that this can be a great way to let your subconscious mind out to play. Remember that you are looking to feel more comfortable and more relaxed as you do this.

When you are thinking about meditation, though, you’ll discover that it is a lot easier said than done. You might find that you sit down and suddenly there are a number of things that are all calling for our attention. You might feel as though you are being silly or that you are doing it wrong. Remember that there are tools that can guide you, so take some time and focus and find a mantra.

Remember that when you want to meditate, your senses can distract you. Every sound that you hear or emotion that you might be experiencing can distract you. What can you focus on? Lots of people start with a candle flame. There is not a lot to see and the flicker of the candle flame gives you something to focus on while staying relatively still. This might be precisely what you need.

Remember that your conscious mind never shuts down. There is always something that you are thinking about. Focus your thoughts with the use of a mantra, which is a phrase, a poem or even a prayer that you will repeat over and over again in you head. It can help you focus and it can clear your mind very well. It doesn’t matter what it is, as long as you can recite it without conscious thought. Some people will perform Hail Marys while other people prefer to use song lyrics that are inspirational to them. Take some time and really consider what might work for you.

Method 3: Just Trust Yourself

This is perhaps the most important element of developing your clairvoyant abilities. Don’t doubt, second-guess yourself, dismiss your gut instincts as unimportant, or tell yourself there’s no logical reason for you to feel the way you do. Your hunches and instincts exist for a reason. It’s your subconscious mind trying to tell you something, something that your conscious mind hasn’t noticed.

This is not going to be easy, but the ore you listen and the more you trust your instincts, the better of you are going to be. You can encourage and nurture your sixth sense into developing and maturing.
