Yoga Centers in Costa Rica

Category: YogaGeoff McCabe @ 11:21 pm

A new concept in travel accomodations is becoming the trend as a younger generation of world travelers has asked hotels and resorts to offer much more than just a room and a restaurant.

This type of tourist wants more from a vacation than just sightseeing, and one of the answers to this need has been hotels and resorts specializing in yoga and/or wellness.

Retreat Centers are being built in many popular travel destinations, especially tropical areas such as Costa Rica.

Costa Rica beach areas that focus on tourism, such as Montezuma or Mal Pais in the southern Nicoya Peninsula, have a selection of hotels to learn yoga, and the hotels and retreat centers compete over who can provide the most gorgeous space.

Retreat Centers like Anamaya Yoga Retreat Center in Montezuma have a large wooden deck overlooking the sea, fulfilling every yoga enthusiast\’s expectation about what tropical paradise will look like on their vacation. This kind of yoga floor is very photogenic, and this helps a hotel to succeed in booking guests, since so many travelers choose their accommodations primarily on the photos of the places they plan to visit.

Teachers of yoga and pilates from many other places have come to Costa Rica for yoga retreats and have fallen in love with this country. Now some of them work for various hotels and resorts, and some even offer yoga classes at their homes or in one of many Costa Rica rental houses.

Because of all these new and skilled yoga teachers to Costa Rica, the tourist towns, such as Malpais now a variety of yoga options. While it\’s not always true, the guys go surfing and the girls do yoga.

There\’s also a new kind of vacation accommodation, known as a Wellness Hotel. These places usually offer Yoga as an integral part of a greater program dedicated to their clients\’ overall health. These programs will include meditation, nutritional counseling, vegetarian cooking, and a cleansing program.

Participants in wellness retreats often return to their home lives not only happier and healthier but with knowledge about their bodies and will continue to live more healthfully long after their trip is over.

Some of Costa Rica\’s wellness retreats focus on detox, and that most often starts with a dietary fast. There are many types, but often it includes nothing but some kind of juice, followed by a diet where new healthier items are added gradually, usually simple fruits and vegetables.

Colon cleansing, lymph drainage massage, acupuncture, sauna, and other important treatments that focus on aiding the body to shed toxins are an important part of the program. There are also some yoga positions that are designed to squeeze the internal organs and thus help in cleansing the entire body.

After several days of this, most clients notice quite a difference, but that depends on how good their health is to begin with. Clients sometimes discover food allergies that they never knew about, such as a milk or wheat allergy. Some guests report clearer eyes, smoother skin, and much better sleep.

When fantasizing about your next vacation to Costa Rica, you ought to research some of the wellness and detox centers instead of the standard hotel chain. As with so many other people who have visited them, you\’ll most likely return happier and healthier.

A Little Guide To Yoga Retreats And Yoga Vacations

Category: YogaRachel Hansen-Winther @ 4:10 pm

You\’ve been to a few yoga classes and maybe also have done some workshops, and now you want to get even more serious about your yoga practice. The decision is made, for your next vacation, you are going away on a yoga retreat. Here are some answers to common questions you might ask yourself.

Yoga retreat or yoga holiday?

While the distinction between yoga vacations and yoga retreats is not always clear, now and again, even the organizers have not thought enough about how to accurately name their course), there is quite a discrepancy in terms of focus point and general feel or mood.

Generally speaking, a yoga vacation is primarily an activity vacation. The time dedicated daily to yoga usually won\’t go beyond four hours, in one, or probably two daily classes, and you will have plenty time for other activities or just to settle down and chill out.

The atmosphere should show this, with a beach or other significant attractions in the vicinity.

The air is often unperturbed, and it is usually a great to come across other like-minded people. On a retreat, conversely, the yoga agenda is likely to be more concentrated, possibly together with some meditation, times of silence, etc.

The principal focus is no longer to enjoy yourself on holiday, but to deepen your yoga practice. Again, the choice of location should reflect this, with a quiet, possibly remote location. Retreats should be fully residential, the food vegetarian, and meal times cautiously thought out to fit smoothly within the daily yoga schedule. You will find more \’hard core\’ yogis and yoginis on retreats, and the overall atmosphere can be quite serious, with much less \’free\’ time.

Unless you are quite certain that yoga is your thing, and want to move your practice to the next level, a yoga break rather than a yoga retreat may be the best option for your first time doing yoga away from home.

Go on your own, or bring a buddy?

Going alone is not a drawback. Actually, most people going on yoga course go alone. The downside to going alone is that you may have to share a room with one or more complete strangers, but at least, you will know that, like you, they have a keen interest in yoga, and great friendships are frequently formed on yoga courses.

If you decide not to go on your own, pick your companion(s) cautiously. A few yoga centres will approve of guests who don\’t do yoga, but most often, and absolutely in the case of a retreat, yoga should be a shared interest with your prospective travel companion, so if you don\’t want to go alone, a yoga buddy is a far better choice than your new boyfriend (unless, of course, you met him on a yoga weekend!)

Where and when to go?

The yoga break market is now becoming increasingly competitive, and main stream travel agents are moving in, sometimes with disastrous results. Unlike yoga teachers and dedicated venues, they do not always understand the particular requirements of what is still very much a niche market.

Complaints about such new comers to the yoga holiday market, who often have operated successfully in other branches of the tourist trade such as the organization of seminars or other types of package holidays, are their lack of understanding of the specificity of the yoga market, particularly in relation to diet (vegetarian and vegan options are not always available) and the unsuitability of the venues chosen, which are often large, soulless resorts, sometimes shared with a crowd of rowdy drunks (as happened to me in Goa a few years ago).

All this is not very conducive to peace of mind, so it is best to avoid large operators and stick with small, dedicated venues. There are a lot of them to choose from all over the world, and new ones are sprouting up everywhere so there\’s a large choice of destinations at any time of the year!

Sun destinations such as Greece, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Italy, and the south of France tend to be most popular in the European summer while in the winter; India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Mexico and the Caribbean tend to be favorites. There are also a number of other locations which don\’t emphasize the \’sun\’ part including Scotland, various parts of England, Ireland, Finland, Canada, Austria to name just a few.

See for example the Yoga Centres listing of the Yogaholidays.net site. Even thought they might not be right up on the beach, these venues are chosen for their quietness and are far more suited to the practice of yoga than large tourist resorts.

What style, what teacher?

Perhaps more important than the location is the teacher and the style of yoga. Remember you will be stuck with your choice for the duration of the course, so a bit of thinking may be in order.

The best, of course, is to choose a teacher you have already studied with, perhaps in the context of weekly classes or a short workshop. Second best, is to get an opinion from someone who has been on a holiday/retreat with a particular teacher before. If this is not possible, you might find some useful information on the Internet, as most established teachers now have websites.

This should at least give you an idea of who they are and of whether their style of teaching (and style of yoga) will suit you. If nothing else, don\’t be afraid to ask the teacher such questions as who they studied with, how long they have been practicing and how long they have been teaching yoga. Try to ring rather than email, as you\’ll get a far better idea over the phone.

Tell the teacher about your yoga experience, level of fitness and your expectation for the retreat so they can advise you properly on suitability. Usually they don\’t want to be stuck with the wrong student any more that you want to be stuck with the wrong teacher, so they will advise you honestly. It is also recommended to try the style of yoga that will be taught as part of the holiday/retreat by taking a few classes in your area, just to be sure that it will suit you, before booking.

What to bring?

Check whether you\’ll need a yoga mat (if you have your own, it best to bring it anyway). Bring some reading, yogic or not, and don\’t forget your practice clothes!

Have fun!

Mental Representations Information

Category: YogaOdesi Desko @ 4:54 am

As you go throughout your day and hear some sound or experience a random image may pop into your head. While there is much debate as to why and how this occurs, researchers have come to the conclusion that it is an absolutely natural phenomenon. Despite the name, these mental images are capable of being triggered by any of your five senses.

One of the most commonly known forms of imaging is daydreaming. For many who do repetitive tasks or sit in situations, such as classrooms, which fail to keep them engaged the mind soon wanders. For others reading takes on the action of viewing a video while the brain processes the words. However, this can also take a voluntary form such as when a person trying to recall the spelling of a word can actually visualize it. This is because what we do, see, hear, smell, and feel, in essence, our experiences are stored in the brain and retrieved when needed or when certain mental states occur.

Many research still debate this, but there are those who say all these images are put together to make the world come together for them. The whole concept of this process has been raising the interests of people since the time of socrates and plato. Many people tend to experience this while in a warm car and fully relaxed on the open road.

Many other techniques can exist as well, such as HT Massage Chair HT-5005 Massage Chair which can allow you to experience it as well.

Although many researchers feel it may be a form of idealism, others see the brain as a digital computer with different elements controlling different functions; some voluntary and others involuntary. What researchers can agree on is that the brain works not only in a visual mode, but is also full of energy and movement that rarely works in tandem. This is because specific sections of the brain can interfere with the workings of other parts.

Everyone is different, and some are much better at recalling images than others. Science has still not proven exactly why this occurs. Many studies have come to the conclusion that those who are more skilled at mental imagery are much better at recalling real world details. If an event occurs and two people watch it happen, the person who has a stronger ability to process mental images would be able to remember facts that the other person could not.

Whether it be business owners in training or parents, students, and teachers they can all make use of this information by choosing the most appropriate learning methods. Depending on how skilled the person is at mental imagery can effect how well they can perform their task. People have different behavioral patterns and much different life choices depending on how strong their ability to retrieve mental images is as well.

Another important aspect is the fact mental images can be used to relieve stress. A person can use various methods such as meditation, autogenics, and biofeedback in order to reach a higher level of relaxation to relieve yourself of all the tensions life can cause for you. If someone is experiencing anxiety, frustration, and even simple stress, the brain combats them through mental imaging to help relax the body. Basically through this method of relaxing, you focus on an image in your mind so you can get the most out of the process.

Pranayama Yoga Information

Category: YogaOdesi Desko @ 8:25 pm

Most yoga is based around the principle of pranayama, which stands for \”restraint of the breath.\” It is meant to allow you to relieve tension and keep the energy of your body healthy and in proper alignment. A lot of relaxation techniques use this principle of \”control of life force,\” and it can often be a great alternative to getting medical treatment.

Giving birth is one example, where some women do not want to be given drugs that might harm the baby, so they learn controlled breathing techniques. The Lamaze system of controlling the breath teaches the woman to take deep inhalations that are held for a count of 3, followed by slow exhalations and visual concentration on one object. Women find that by using this technique they experience less pain and easier births, because their muscles have far less tension, which allows the baby to be delivered more easily.

As you combine them with yoga and other forms of relaxation, you can experience a greater connection with the rest of your body, allowing you to access parts of your brain you may not normally use every day. Due to the disconnect between the body and the mind, it\’s important to get them to cooperate, so you can be in greater harmony.

By utilizing the strategies of Pranayama during yoga, one can still the mind and spirit achieving a higher level of enlightenment. Awareness and concentration can be enhanced and harmony can be achieved; however, as the Buddhists warn, it should be carefully regulated and more advanced forms should be used with caution. With proper training and guidance, though, one can achieve great relief with very little effort. There are other convenient techniques for relaxation as well; for example, a lot of people purchase Barber Chair Davinci Series in order to achieve similar results.

A lot of people have found that, when they use this particular technique, they can solve a lot of their potential problems, including:

* stress and anxiety-related disorders

- asthma and asthma-related conditions

* improved nervous system functioning

- high levels of toxic stress

Also, you can learn to:

- free your mind

- gaining more willpower

- make better decisions

- improving perception

* and extending life

Breathing tends to be an automatic function that we don\’t even realize we do, but controlling it can help us so much. Breathing allows you to process food into nutrients that we require, and gets oxygen to the organs that need it. However, it can also affect our well-being, as breathing too much can make us tense and get stressed, and keeping your breathing relaxed will make you calm. As we exhale, carbon dioxide is ejected from our body, keeping that particular toxin out of our system.

Pranayama can be used in tandem with yoga or meditation to allow you to calm down and stay relaxed, settling your mind. Also, you can use it to weather the rough times and keep yourself from becoming too angry or frustrated, especially in those times every day where your resolve is tested. Breathing is such an important part of life that you should take note of it and use the proper techniques to enhance your ability to breathe and relax yourself.

An Explanation To The Different Yoga Poses

Category: YogaAdriana Noton @ 5:00 pm

There are many advantages to taking part in Yoga, but unlike other exercises there are many different yoga poses to be learned which is why I have decided to tell you about some of the main ones so that you can learn this age old art of stretching to give yourself a better body, relaxation and improve your inner strength.

As with most things you wish to learn, it is best to start off with the basics and work up to the more complex poses with time once you have mastered the easier ones. The bridge pose is a good one to begin with but you need to make sure you stretch first to avoid injury.

This one involves you making a bridge with your back arched and towards the floor hands stretched behind you keeping your feet on the ground also. You can see how this pose got its name. There are a lot of variations to this kind and to list them all would mean I could not tell you about the others!

Strengthening your core can help both in day to day activities as well as any exercise or sports you take part in. This can be achieved with many different poses that are part of yoga. One that is common is the cat pose. If you have ever seen a cat stretch you will know where this name came from.

You need to begin on all fours with your legs together and arms straight down in front of you. Slowly arch the back to point towards the ceiling and then return to the starting position.

There are some of the exercises you are able to do in a standing position. They vary as to their benefit but are all steps in the right direction. If you suffer from tight hamstrings and wish to lengthen them you will definitely benefit from the big toe pose. It is pretty much as it seems, you have to bend down and touch your big toe without arching your back.

To strengthen your legs and your ankles allowing you more flexibility also is the half moon pose. This also begins in a standing position.

You then have to keep one leg on the floor and put the arm on the same side of the body down also. While doing this keep the leg from the floor aligned with your torso and your free arm stretched upright.

Meditation is just as important as the other kinds as you need to have a healthy body as well as mind. This means allowing free flowing thought so that you don\’t have bad thoughts holding you back from inner peace. There are various poses that can be taken while meditating and although some can take to them straight away others may take longer. It is not about competing to be the first if you are working as a group or with a friend. It is about you making yourself healthier both inside and out. No matter what your fitness levels are there are always yoga positions you will be able to get into and benefit from.

Attending fitness clubs Toronto is an excellent way to maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep your body in shape. Alternatively, you may prefer hot yoga Toronto for a further enriching fitness experience.

Reasons For Doing Daily Yoga Sessions

Category: YogaAdriana Noton @ 4:04 pm

Yoga has been around since ancient times when people would use it to relax and create good karma around themselves. When most of us think of the practice we often imagine people who contort their bodies into all sorts of positions that the normal human should not even attempt. The truth is that the ancient art is so much more than that.

For centuries people have been aware of the many benefits that yoga can have. With the simple implementation of a basic routine a person can find that inner piece that is often elusive in today\’s hectic world. It only takes a few minutes a day to grab hold of those peaceful feelings that we are all lacking.

Most people tend to think of any workout as a chore, but the fact is that this relaxing form of exercise will soon create feelings that are nothing close to work. The atmosphere is truly peaceful and the impact on the body is amazing. It is so relaxing that people actually scramble to find time for this wonderful routine.

Yoga is truly relaxing and requires your body to be able to move freely. Wear loose fitting and comfortable clothing when starting. The last thing that anyone wants is to worry about how tight their clothing feels.

Styles:

As with other programs yoga offers a wide variety of styles and techniques. When beginning a regimen try and find a class that is led by a certified instructor. Most towns offer some sort of instruction in this ancient art and a class will help teach you the styles, postures, and techniques that are used.

Almost every style that is currently being taught depends on a solid knowledge of the basic poses that have been used throughout the centuries. With each one of them has a reason or meaning for benefiting the human form. Work with an instructor to decide the routine for you.

In a world where people are always trying to maintain a good aura, Karma yoga has become very popular. This is a type of routine that implements certain techniques and forms that will create that good energy that we all want in our lives. A majority of newcomers practice this method.

Another common regime for those who are just learning is Hatha. This is a very laid back and docile form of the art that implements slow moves and deep breathing to achieve that inner peace.

For the more adventurous sorts there is a routine that is done in a very warm and humid room. This type of hot yoga is said to help relax those weary muscles in a way that a normal workout will not allow. There are different stretches and poses that are included which reinforce this theory.

Yoga is a time honored tradition that is still being practiced in our modern society. It is an effective way of decompressing from the everyday stressors that most of us go through. After only a few sessions you will find yourself feeling like you do not have a care in the world.

Going to Toronto extreme fitness clubs will help you maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep your body in shape. Particularly, maintaining a daily Toronto yoga regime leads to an enriching fitness experience.

What is Yoga?

Category: YogaBarbara Nobles @ 8:37 pm

What is Yoga? It may seem like a silly question, but many Westerners want to know the answer to the question, \”is yoga a religion?\” I maintain that it is not a religion because there is no central figure who receives worship or emulation and there is not obligatory philosophy attached to yoga. While some of the term and concepts may be unfamiliar to Westerners, and practitioners come from all walks of life and all backgrounds, yoga is not a religion.

Yoga can provide us with many benefits: lower blood pressure, increased flexibility (both physical and mental), emotional clarity, mental focus, and better sleep, to name a few. We will notice some of these changes right away. Others come with time, as the practitioner becomes more accustomed to the poses.

Yoga began more that 8,000 years ago in India as a way of living a more conscious life in order to live longer and be able to perform more \”good deeds\”. The physical practice, Hatha Yoga, a series of the asanas (poses) was brought into practice as a way to calm the mind, fatigue the muscles and prepare the body to sit in meditation. The fact that the asanas also build strength where there once was weakness and flexibility where there once was tightness is an added bonus.

There is a humane benefit to the practice of yoga as well. Most students begin their practice for the health and beauty benefits. Because it is highly targeted exercise, students notice positive benefits right away and they\’re motivated to continue to learn more. Before long, they notice a growing sense of calm in their thoughts and feelings and this is naturally shared with the people in their life. Family members often note more kindness and patience in the practitioner\’s life. This is understandable because as we grow to appreciate the grace and mystery of our own body, it\’s natural to want to share our wonder and joy with others.

This is when our Yoga practice has taken us off the mat and into the world. Perhaps we chose to study the philosophy of Yoga. We might chose to adopt the social and personal ethics guidelines for conscious living that this philosophy offers, our Yamas and Niyamas.

This is the great thing about Yoga; each of us can take from it as little or as much as we like. We can all enjoy the wonderful practice of Hatha Yoga and all of its physical benefits and we can each chose if and when to progress into a daily Yogic lifestyle off the mat according to what we feel is right for us at the time.

Webster\’s New Dictionary defines Philosophy as: the study of the principles underlying conduct, thought, and the nature of the universe. It defines a Philosopher as: a lover of wisdom; one who acts calmly and rationally in the affairs and changes of life.

In yoga, we study our actions, words , and thoughts with the intent of being a demonstration of peace and unity. In our practice, we enjoy the mental and emotional space to distinguish between the chatter of our worldly minds so we can listen more openly to the promptings of the Spirit. By embracing that Spirit we discover that our real design is to be good and DO good.

To Break a Sweat

Category: YogaNelson Pellew @ 5:10 pm

For a boy whose favorite pastime was watching the telly, it seems absurd that now, approaching 40, that I cannot abide a day without some form of rigorous exercise. Yes, I was a portly lad who was fond of Toblerones and Lion Bars. To be sure, I would go as far out of my way as possible to avoid the football field or the gymnasium. But, of course, middle age has a way of making it worth your while to stay alive. Hence, I now endeavor to stay active.

My ideal weight, at least according to the pundits and insipid online health forums, falls somewhere between 195 and 220 pounds. The higher range of that spectrum is approximately 40 grueling pounds away. Accordingly, I have embarked on a program that includes weight training, moderate aerobics (read as a walking), yoga, and a new selection of exercise clothing.

Yes, for someone with as much girth as I carry about, yoga may seem like a rather comical pursuit. I assure you, it is no less humorous that watching me struggle with a 60-pound bench press sans a spotter. Enjoy your self-satisfied chuckle, but let he who is without weight cast the first stone. Yoga, I find, allows me to opportunity to break a sweat, broaden my range of motion, and find a morsel of tranquility.

As a young man, as the weight was slowly accumulating, I had thought I would find some sort of inspiration along the lines of Yukio Mishima and his late-life blossoming into apparent health. Unfortunately, that blossoming never came. No, my course was set by a stolen, sidelong glance at myself in the mirror. Yes, al naturale, as I was exiting the shower. No, it was not a pretty sight, but I have seldom been one to think I graced this world with much beauty. Rather, it was how terribly pathetic and undignified I looked.

I have never, nor do I now, cut a dashing figure. Indeed, I am closer to Christopher Hitchens than Gary Cooper. To which I must say, I certainly will not be putting on the proverbial Ritz. Even now, with more than a few months behind me and my behind firmly tucked into a downward dog position, I must confess I look positively worse for the wear. Nevertheless, I enjoy each blessed day — and every cursed moment at the galley\’s oar, sweating like Charlton Heston.

A number of the best exercise clothing for women — of which I am no expert — can be found and purchased online, including yoga paraphernalia.

Gay Yoga Benefits

Category: YogaHowie Holben @ 8:24 pm

Depending on how you look at it, yoga is an art, a science, or a fitness technique. For some people it can be all three. It stems from ancient Indian practices for right living and is still practiced in many forms on the subcontinent. It has also become a popular way to mediate and exercise in the West. Most Westerns use a \”flowing\” style of yoga that is more conducive to strength training and weight loss. There is even a \”hot\” yoga that helps you sweat out toxins while you are doing your poses. While yoga is a very individualized way to exercise, it is often conducted in a group setting under the supervision of a qualified instructor. Because of this, there are many yoga classes that are geared toward a specific demographic so that the attendees will feel more comfortable in a group. For instance, there is prenatal yoga, yoga for women, and gay yoga.

Since you need to feel comfortable and relaxed in order to get the full benefit of yoga, besides tailoring classes to certain demographics of people, the entire structure of the yoga studio and class is geared toward a soothing atmosphere.

The room should be welcoming, and usually will have soft lighting and maybe even soft music playing at the before the session begins. The floor should also be both supportive and cushioned so you don\’t have to worry about straining your joints as you go through your poses. A good yoga instructor will also be someone who can put you at ease both before and during the session.

The flow of a general yoga class is also designed to challenge you without stressing your mind or your body. Generally the class starts out with some easier warm up exercises.

Even the yoga class itself is designed to make you feel comfortable. It starts out with basic breathing and warm up exercises that will help your mind clear out all the cobwebs of the day. Then you move into more challenging exercises and poses.

Once you are warmed up and ready to go you will start to do poses that gradually get more challenging as the class goes on. It would be toward the middle or end of class that strength training and Pilates exercises would be held.

Just when you think you can\’t work anymore, you will be given a chance to some simple cool down moves and mediation exercises before leaving the class.

All yoga is designed to energize your body and relax your mind. No matter where you do it or who you do it with, if you come in with the right mindset you should get the most from your class that you can. Of course, specialized yoga classes, such as gay yoga, can also help. If you are adventurous you can even try gay tantra.

Commentary originated by Howie Holben. Spirit Journeys arranges gay weekend breaks and has gay tantra retreats. D

The Best Hatha Yoga Books For You

Category: YogaJennifer Wilson @ 6:24 pm

Hatha Yoga, or Hatha Vidya, has gained in popularity since its inception in India in the 15th Century by Yogi Swatmarama. If you are looking to cleanse and purify the body in order to make it ready for a higher level of spirituality then this yoga is for you.

These days Hatha Yoga has lost some of its more spiritual focus and is often used purely for physical fitness. Hatha is combination of two words: Ha meaning \”sun\” and \”Tha\” meaning moon. Therefore in Hatha Yoga we see the joining of two forces, the energy of the sun and the moon.

You can find yoga books for every age group and person. Pregnant women often like to perform yoga to keep their body healthy during childbirth but you can also find yoga books and poses for children and the elderly. It is also of great benefit to those who want to learn yoga but are a little shy doing so in front of a class.

A good book will always have illustrated Hatha Yoga poses. A picture is worth a thousand words and it is so much easier to copy the movements when you can see them clearly in front of you. If you forget some of the poses you can always return to the book to remind yourself of how to do them.

We find that Hatha Yoga in particular focuses on the purifying, strengthening and cleansing of the body. In this way the body can draw in finer energies. help you with meditation and connect with higher aspects of yourself. You will see you to do all the exercises, in addition to purifying the internal organs and learning Pranayama, or breathing exercises.

The Hatha Yoga Poses are taught in a sequence so that one easier, beginner pose will lead into a more difficult, more advanced pose. It\’s handy to have a book that shows you illustrated Hatha Yoga poses as a reference guide. That way you will never be unsure about how to correctly perform the movements.

These few tips will help get you started but for more Hatha Yoga Books and Yoga Courses click here.

Category: YogaThaya Kareeson @ 12:56 am

Life is full of an endless stream of stress. Common sources of stress can be your job, home, family, friends, finances, the list can go on forever. To handle it all a person has got to have a way to take a time out and regroup. A great way to do this is by having your own pilates reformer at home. This way you do not have to remember the gym schedule, or find time to get over to the health club. It is available to you all day, every day, when you need. It

Working in an office can be hard on the body. This may seem contradictory at first, but really your back will start to scream at you after sitting in that chair day after day. It does not take long at all for it to become old. Your posture will suffer. You begin to notice more and more how the lack of fresh air is affecting your attitude. Following a long day you will be glad to go home and have a place to relax and escape.

Your car really does not feel much better. It is outside of the office, and for fresh air you can roll down the windows, but you are still sitting. If you get stuck in the traffic jam that never ends you could be sitting there for a long time. You body just continues to whine at you for a break.

The chores did not do themselves while you were away at work. You come home and have to handle cooking dinner, doing the dishes, and possibly even some laundry or sweeping. As you move around you find that it is better than sitting at your office, but still somehow not quite what you had in mind.

Families are great, wonderful, and loving. Family is there for you in times of need, normally. They also bring a considerable amount of stress. They compete for your attention. They unload their bad day on you, adding to your already bad day. They were taught to share, and share they do, until you really can not handle anymore of their sharing.

You must take a time out for yourself. If you do not your job performance is bound to suffer. Your relationships will suffer. You will hit burn out mode and then the whole world will seem like one long bland meal.

As you plan your personal daily retreat be sure to remove distractions. Turn off the television. Do not be checking your email. Do something really drastic and turn off your cell phone! Shocking and hard to do, but it must be done for the sake of your own sanity.

After taking the time to take care of you everything around you may seem a bit brighter. The stress may not feel so urgent anymore. There is no doubt that having a pilates reformer at home is a great step towards feeling better. Your body will thank you.

Now you can learn how to lose weight by using a couple of simple steps now! This easy series of meditation for beginners will have you seeing changes and you will start feeling healthier quickly!
