To begin to stretch your bicep is a very wise move for anyone who intends to be in the sport of bodybuilding for a long time. This is because sustaining a bicep injury will not only put a halt your bicep training but it will affect every other single muscle group and you simply don\’t want that.

Don\’t under estimate the effects of a serious bicep injury. Acquiring a bicep injury can really hamper your progress at the gym. Back, shoulders and chest workouts will become impossible to perform. So to stretch your bicep is actually a smart idea.

So should you stretch your biceps before or after a workout? You should stretch after a workout or after a warm up set. This is because deciding to stretch your biceps before a workout can not only weaken your biceps but it can also cause an injury itself. The key is to stretch after a workout or after a workout you should always warm-up before a bicep workout routine

New Growth For Your Bicep Muscles With These Powerful Three Workouts

Please note that the moves giving here can be performed in any order. The first move that you will be using is a hallmark in working the bicep muscles. It is a key bicep movement that truly attacks every fiber in your bicep. Also it is the move that you can probably carry the most weight with. And everybody knows the more weights you can move the bigger you will get. This move is none other than the standing barbell curl. Choose a weight that will cause you to fail at the 10 rep. load the bar with the desired weight and grip the bar at shoulder width with an underhand grip. Now stand with your knees slightly bent and with the barbell hanging on your thighs. With your elbows tucked to your sides curl the weights till they reach shoulder height. Pause for as second then slowly reverse motion. Do 4 sets of these and make sure you really work hard. You won\’t grow bicep muscles any other way

The next exercise you should perform to build your bicep muscles is the dumbbell curl. The dumbbell curl is a solid bicep builder because of its range of motion. More muscle fibers are involved. So that\’s why it is a staple movement. Always make sure you pick up dumbbells that give you a challenge. You don\’t want to lift weights that are to light. Now stand straight with a slight bend in your knees. With your arms hanging straight down by your hips with your palms facing forward. Curl one arm till the dumbbell reaches shoulder level. Squeeze your biceps muscles and lower the weights down slowly. Just before the weight reaches starting position curl the other hand and perform the same movement. It is important you train heavy and you train hard. Pushing your self will lead to bigger bicep muscles nothing less

The final exercise to your bicep routine is the dumbbell one handed preacher curl. This will complete your bicep muscles. Because it is a pure definition movement. It\’s made to help you really squeeze your biceps and force some definition into them. Choosing the right weights is crucial. Going to heavy will kill the purpose of the exercise. You need to at least get in 10 solid reps. so choose a proper weight. Now place your hand on the bench and press your elbows and shoulders on to the bench. From this position curl your biceps and truly squeeze at the peak. Hold it for a second then slowly lower your biceps back to starting position then repeat. Perform this movement for as many reps as you can till you reach failure. Always push your self. And in no time you will have bicep muscles to be proud of

These three moves are all you need. Always make sure you go hard and keep pushing your self and in no time you will have the bicep muscles that you wanted
