So you must overload your muscles to build them. They will adapt by getting stronger and bigger.

In order to make gains week after week, you must increase the load in various ways.

You can decrease the amount of rest in between sets, add more reps, add more sets, etc.

2. Progressive Variation

This isn\’t \”muscle confusion\”. Your body builds neural pathways to your muscles to do the same motion efficiently. The more you do it, the better you get at it.

Doing the same exercise every week on the same muscle will increase the weight but not increase growth.

Your body has found an efficient way of doing the exercise without adding more size.

3. Rest

Most people don\’t sleep enough, or get enough rest and thus they overtrain. When it comes to building muscle, less work is better.

Muscle isn\’t built in the gym. It\’s built when you sleep and the next day when your body repairs itself through the release of hormones.

To build muscle properly, you must get 8 to 9 hours of sleep each night. This is for your muscles, nervous system, and hormonal system to recover.

4. Nutrition

No, this doesn\’t mean go and grab the closest \”nutritional supplement\”. It simply means, eat right by getting the right amount of carbs, fats (yes you need the good kind), and proteins.

Your individual calorie requirements depend on your weight, body fat, level of activity, and age.

First, find out the calorie surplus you need to build muscle, then make sure you get that amount each day in the right proportions of foods.

Discover The Truth To Help You Gain Weight Quickly

You really do want to gain weight quickly? You have been putting in hours of training. You have been using the best supplements. But still no significant improvement. Don\’t worry though; this is more common than you think. You just need a little help.

Firstly if you want to gain weight quickly then you must have intensity in your training. Look on every set as if it is your last, every rep as critical. Use a stopwatch to keep a close eye on your rest periods.

What is important is that you give your muscles a reason to grow if you are going to gain weight quickly. When you train at the same level workout after workout there is no reason for your muscles to grow any further.

The simple fact is that a weight training program that works contains two essential forms of training.

1. HEAVIER, HEAVIER, HEAVIER! Do put everything into lifting heavier and heavier weights. This will make you as strong as possible. Use only one compound exercise per major muscle group and focus on a 5% increase in strength from week to week.

2. MORE, MORE, MORE! Expose your body to as much work possible in the shortest period of time. Placing your muscles under more stress will result in the involvement of the more untrained muscle fiber and therefore result in more muscle growth! The key is to find the correct balance between the time that you train and the workload. More training does not mean two hour gym workouts lifting light weights. Instead you need to lift heavy weights, as close as possible to your maximum threshold but also with shorter rest periods. Operate with slower tempos and more exercise selection per muscle group.

Stick with your program! Whilst it might seem like a good idea to trial a program for a few weeks and then move on to the next one. Beware, you\’re fooling yourself. You are not taking this seriously! You wouldn\’t think of embarking on a college course but giving up after a month or so. No, you need to make the investment in order to achieve your aims and gain weight quickly. This is also true of a fitness program.
