The newest entry level TV from Panasonic, the TX-L37S10 has received mostly positive reviews. Some reviewers find the TX-L37S10 a good find; but others do not exactly feel the same. However, taking a closer look at this model, its features and its specifications, one will find the there is something wrong with the not so good reviews. Of course, aside from the pricing, one should keep in mind that it is an entry level HD TV TV set before it is judged.

The Samsung UE40B7000 is one of the top performers in the mid-range class of LCDs. This has the standard black casing common to all electronics, and this one has a platinum black color, leaving it slightly glossier. The stem is clear, giving it a more contemporary look, and setting it slightly apart from others on the market. It is an attractive set, even following the trends currently on the market.

These are being marketed as the new LED TVs, and they are an LCD set, with the back lights set around the edge of the screen. Even then, the picture can clearly be seen, but the dimness is noticeable especially under those conditions and is on par with plasma sets.

There are plenty of features on this set that make it stand out. One of the major things is the Yahoo widget. An interactive set, widgets can allow you to keep up with stock and sports scores. Other internet content is also available and the options on this far surpass other in its class. You can also add content from your computer and removable media via the USB, letting you see your own pictures in HD clarity.

The main problem is with the audio. This set is too thin to hold speakers that can give you a true sound experience, and you may find that you will need an external audio system to fully enjoy the cinematic scope of some movies. The sound is good for its limitations, but is slightly tinny sounding at high volumes.

The Samsung UE40B7000 does use less energy to run it. On average, it uses between 100 and 130 W of power, which is considerably less then competitors and this will definitely save you money running it. Over all the quality of the set is excellent from picture and value, and the few minor problems with dimness should be overlooked for all the great extras and additional features you get at this price point.
